Sharon Little just completed work on her new CD in L.A. with frequent collaborator Scot Sax - Perfect Time for a Breakdown. Sharon also opened twenty-four shows for Robert Plant, Alison Krauss and T-Bone Burnett on their Raising Sand North American Tour.

2. Amos Lee - Sweet Pea
"Sweet Pea" was featured in an AT&T commercial.

3. Illinois- Things are Gonna Be Okay
Illinois' song "Nosebleed" was featured on an episode of the HBO series "Weeds" (YouTube). Their latest album, The Return of Kid Catastrophe was released over the summer.

4. Mutlu - Livin' It
In 2008, Mutlu toured with Joe Jackson. Their most recent album is Livin' It.

5. Melody Gardot - Goodnite
April 2008 was big for Gardot. She was the XPN Artist To Watch and also a featured artist on iTunes.

6. The Brakes - Into the Ground
The Brakes' recent live album Tale of Two Cities, was recorded over dual residencies at the Knitting Factory in NYC and MilkBoy in Philly.

7. Bitter Bitter Weeks - Sincerely, The Last Century
Currently the Bitter Bitter Weeks are writing material for their follow-up album as well as for The Novenas' album.

Dr. Dog was the XPN Artist To Watch in March 2007. Their recent album Fate was released in July.

Currently, Kuf Knotz is working on finishing up a solo album.

15. Andrew Lipke - Remember This
Lipke's most recent album is Mother Pearl and Dynamite. It is reminiscent of classic rock "concept records".

16. Madi Diaz - Side
Country twang and folk-pop dominate the sounds of Madi Diaz's debut solo album, Skin and Bone. The Pennsylvania native was a guest on the World Cafe in December 2007. You can hear the full interview and performance at WorldCafe.NPR.org.

17. Jesse Ruben - Standing Strong
Ruben's debut album Aiming for Honesty was released in January of this year, with a CD release show at World Cafe Live. He played a live concert with Madi Diaz which was broadcasted live on XPN.org/listen and NPR.org. Find it on NPR.org/music.

18. Hoots & Hellmouth - A Song For Solstice
The XPN Artist To Watch in July 2007, Hoots & Hellmouth are working on their second album and are currently on tour all across the U.S.

19. Dan May - Christmas In My Hometown
Dan May's latest album was produced by Glenn Barratt and released in May. Guest appearances on his album include Lizanne Knott, John Conahan, and Antje Duvekot.

20. Fooling April - Every Single Christmas
Fooling April's album In the Now was named one of the Top 10 Most Overlooked Albums of 2007 by Phillylist.com.

WXPN Musicians On Call is a community outreach program that brings live music performances to patients in healthcare facilities around the Philadelphia area.
